Is it me, or this channel is terribly biased towards Asus? No laptop is perfect, heck most are far from perfect. IMO what matters most is the after sales service. Nothing beats Lenovo or Dell as far as after sales service goes. You can't talk to a human at Razer. And Asus is equally terrible, so you are at the mercy of the product you receive.

I agree that the dim screen is nearly a deal breaker. My display is 380 nits, and I always, regardless of when I'm using it, have it at max brightness. If I was buying something new, I would want at least a 500 nit display, especially since I keep my devices for so long.

"heat you feel" is a bit of a misnomer for the test, is it? After all you dont feel degrees of celsius. To get degrees celsius you have to measure it, which is quite the opposite of feeling ;)

Please DON'T BUY this Legion Slim 7i 13th Gen laptop. You're limited to Windows 11 OS only. Lenovo provides drivers only for this OS version. You can't install any other Operating Systems on this machine. It has provisions only for two RAM slots and two SSD slots. It generates more heat. I bought one by my wrong decision. Now I regret. Please don't buy this Legion SIim 7i 16IRH8. Will Lenovo provide Drivers for Windows 10, Windows Server, Linux ?

honestly, you had me in wonders for not buying the laptop for couple of months and now that I have bought it, I must say that the only thing you were right about, might be the mouse pad, its very responsive but it gives out click which i prefarably dont like and since i never use my mouse pad, I would give 5 out of 5 for this laptop

I don't really think the Yoga Pro 9i and Macbook are comparable to this. This has a 4080 and G-Sync. Really different use case. The only comparison would be maybe the Omen Transcend 16, but that doesn't get a 4080 either.

Do all versions of this have the physical webcam shutter? The 2 prebuilt one on Lenovo say they do while the build your own version does not mention it.

These systems are cpu bottlenecking the GPU due to a 60 watt limit.
